¡Hola! Soy Jennifer and I am going to teach you Spanish in communicative way, always by listening to your needs and encouraging you in this brave way that is the learning of a new language.
Ready to make you hear?
On many occasions when we learn a language we give blind sticks. We try several methods, several teachers, sometimes we learn without a well-marked road, we lack constancy and the most important thing: quality practice.
I know how important is to find a teacher who really connects with you, that you trust and listen and understand your needs.
I have taught Spanish for more than twelve years, three of the last as a teacher for foreign students. I am a close and self-taught person. I like to teach people and I strive every day to give my students the best of me. I like make my job properly.
I completed a degree in Hispanic Philology (Spanish Language and Literature) at Granada University and I received the ELE certification as Spanish teacher as a foreign language «Formación de profesor de ELE» at International House, accredited centre by the Instituto Cervantes. I also have training in specific subjects such as ELE grammar, planning an online class and adapting teaching material and I love being in continuous learning.
I was born in Granada, a small, alive and very cultural city in the south of Spain, there I have lived most of my life. But I have lived in Belgium, France and Mallorca where I spent one of the best period of my life.
Mother of a two-aged daughter, kitchen apprentice (my husband is the chef…), in love with chocolate cakes and puff pastry, novel and summer nights. I like the countryside, traveling, discovering new places and trying new dishes.
Although I believe that true happiness is a state of mind, traveling and teaching makes me very happy, I like who I am when I travel and when I help my students to learn things.
I don’t need the day has twenty six hours I have a conventional life where I try to accommodate everything that matters to me: my family, my work, the little simple moments, some sport and my dog Chloe.
